The Half Granny Stripe Blanket is Finished

The Half Granny Stripe Blanket project seems to have taken me an awful long time to finish – but it is quite big, so not surprised it took a long time to crochet.

The pattern is really simple and easy to get the hang of. Perfect for mindless and relaxing crochet, and suitable for beginners. There is a written pattern available and a video tutorial of the Half Granny Stripe stitch. Full details can be found on the Half Granny Stripe Blanket page.

You can opt to do whatever colour palette you want, but I absolutely loved the colour scheme.

I hope you enjoy this one!

Retro Stripes

This has been my focus for the past couple of weeks. This project is worked in stripes – it took me while to work out which stitch to use. The end result is very pleasing with not too many gaps in. The colour scheme reminds me of the 1970s retro colours, but also a bit of an autumn feel too.

This pattern has a very simple one row repeat, so hopefully will be simple for me to write up and should be coming very soon.
