Rainbow Granny Squares – joining the squares

This weekend I finished my stacks of pastel rainbow granny squares. I made a total of 30 squares.

My intention was always to join with grey, but I did suddenly wonder whether I should go for white or cream. However I stuck to my original plan – and I am really happy with it.

I am using the ‘join-as-you-go’ joining method.

Hopefully, I will finish joining the squares today and then can get onto the border.

Pastel Rainbow Granny Squares

I mentioned previously that I wanted to use the pastel rainbow colours for a new project – so I played around with these colours, making granny squares

The colours are Stylecraft Special DK: Candyfloss, Apricot, Lemon, Spring Green, Sherbet and Wisteria.

Stack of pink ones finished, now on to the purple ones.

Looking forward to showing you more of this project – I am planning to write this in a bit more detail soon for those who would find this useful.
