This pages outlines how to make my Modern Crochet Granny Rectangles which are an updated version of my Rectangle Granny. These are fun and simple to make and are a modern variation on my Rectangle Granny and are also an interesting variation of the traditional Granny Square.

Abbreviations/Crochet terminology:
UK terms are used throughout.

Making the Modern Crochet Rectangle
Each rectangle consists of a chain of 21, 1 row of double crochet and then 2 rounds of half treble crochet (htr) clusters (made up of 2 half treble crochet stitches).
