Crochet Patchwork Squares

I have been so desperate to make a crochet blanket made up of different blocks of colour, but a design that does not involve individual squares or Granny Squares.

I am so happy that I have finally worked this out, and have come up with this crochet patchwork squares design. Here is a little taster of what I have achieved so far.
